an introduction

The past few years since graduating Arts University Bournemouth have certainly proved very formative. I've always been keen to work in the film industry - but I've been just as keen to write about it as well. After a brief stint working in my local pub, I soon found myself working on Sky's 'The Day of the Jackal' as a Post Production Assistant. Nearly two years later, I find myself nearing the end of my contract with Amazon MGM Studios. Whilst I continue to develop and face new opportunities in the world of Post Production, I always endeavour to find time for my writing as well. From first writing film reviews as brief notations, to now finding my feet as a freelancer interviewing such talent as Daniel Craig and Laurence Fishburne - film journalism remains a focal point of my interests and career aspirations. Though both industries present their own unique challenges, I look forward to seeing where each of them continue to take me.
