an introduction

One day, when I was thirteen, I returned from the cinema and spontaneously wrote a review for the film I had just seen. Scribbles became elongated reviews and that's when I decided to start my own website, reviewing films weekly. Seven years later I now find myself writing freelance for GEM magazine, whilst eventually hoping to pursue a career as a screenwriter/director. From my very first pursuits in the industry, I am constantly searching for new opportunities to help pave the way towards my career in film. Specialising in editing, screenwriting and directing at Arts University Bournemouth, I am extremely eager to showcase not only my passion for the medium but my innate talent for connecting with people on a widespread level. I have worked for Just So Films as Production Assistant and more recently assisted on Lion TV's 'Homes Under the Hammer'. The process has instilled confidence in my decision making skills and I hope I can continue to be a valuable asset of production as well as the creatives I share it with. Though I am currently picking up work as a production assistant, I am eager to make the transition to assistant director, all whilst continuing to pursue my long standing passion for film journalism.
